1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, copying, accessing, or utilizing the FocusGrid application (“Application” or “Software”), you enter into a legally binding agreement with the development team (“we,” “our,” or “us”). If you do not consent to every provision within these Terms and Conditions, you are strictly prohibited from downloading, installing, or executing the Software and must uninstall it immediately.

2. Description of Application & License Grant

FocusGrid is a standalone, client-side utility built for the Android platform, designed to provide master your daily focus with the proven 2x2 eisenhower decision matrix and integrated pomodoro intervals. 100% offline with zero work surveillance.

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and execute the Application strictly for personal, non-commercial, and lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.

3. 100% Offline Architecture & Local Data Responsibility

FocusGrid operates with a strict 100% Offline Architecture. The Software does not communicate with external servers, cloud databases, or third-party storage infrastructure. Consequently:

• All user configurations, entries, records, and databases are stored exclusively within your local hardware device sandbox.
• We possess no server-side access to your data and are physically incapable of inspecting, recovering, restoring, or reconstructing any records deleted or corrupted by hardware failure, operating system clearing, or accidental uninstallation.
• You are solely responsible for executing periodic on-device backups and safeguarding your physical device.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The Application, including its underlying source code, visual components, graphical assets, algorithms, documentation, and trade dress, is the intellectual property of the developers and is protected under international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws. You shall not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from compiled binaries except where permitted by applicable statutory law.

5. User Conduct & Permissible Use

You agree not to use the Application to:

• Violate any local, national, or international statute, ordinance, or administrative regulation.
• Attempt to circumvent device-level Android sandbox security controls.
• Redistribute modified, tampered, or repackaged binaries bearing the package identifier dev.quantumfocus.gridwork without explicit authorization.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties (“AS IS”)

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WORKMANSHIP, TITLE, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL OPERATE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY FUTURE VERSION OF ANDROID.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA CORRUPTION, DEVICE DAMAGE, WORK INTERRUPTION, HEALTH OR FINANCIAL MISJUDGMENTS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Zero OS Permissions Verification

You acknowledge that FocusGrid deliberately omits network (android.permission.INTERNET), camera, external storage, and location permissions. The Application relies on local storage mechanisms provided directly by Android. Any perceived lack of remote synchronization or real-time cloud backup is an intentional architectural privacy feature.

10. Modifications to Software & Terms

We reserve the right to revise or modify these Terms and Conditions periodically. Updated terms will be published at this web address. Your continued retention or usage of the Application subsequent to any modifications constitutes explicit acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law & Severability

These Terms shall be interpreted, construed, and enforced in accordance with applicable general commercial principles and the laws of the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to conflicts of law rules. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
